Spent 3 nights at the black water river state forest in the Florida panhandle north of Pensacola. It rained a good part of the time but we got some hiking and book reading in. The frog serenade at night was amazing. .
We are so used to backpack camping. When you have to carry everything, you definitely rough it. Not now! We have a huge tent you can stand up in, chairs, giant air mattresses and of course the yeti and camp stove off ms Mary Lou.
We even have cool Luci string lights to light up the inside of the tent. Thanks Carol and Randy! Unfortunately, the rain exposed a major flaw in our new giant glamping tent in that the vents located on the roof of the rain fly were very poorly designed and we have been dodging rain drops from the tent roof. Needless to say we are going to replace the tent when we get to Houston which is the closest rei.

Aside from the rain inside, sounds so cozy. Thanks for keeping us updated. Love following along.
