We left Texas a few days ago and headed north into New Mexico. Stopped at Roswell to visit with the aliens at a cool museum. They had a huge collection of information about the alien landing and sightings.

It seems like every gas station in town has a alien statue and even the street lights look like aliens.

Headed on to Albuquerque and stayed a few nights to enjoy the city. We visited a museum that chronicles the Manhattan Project and the history of nuclear technology and weapon development. They also had a collection of missiles and planes.

Of course, we had to visit the Bombs Away Brewing Company after our visit to the museum.

Headed out of Albuquerque today for more camping and hiking.

You passed through Artesia on Hwy 285 on your way to Roswell. That’s where the hospital I work for is located. Could that area be any more flat and desolate? It has been described as the kind of place where you can watch your dog run away for three days! I have visited the UFO Museum in Roswell numerous times and experienced more than a few “Holy shit!” moments. (We’ll talk.)

Hi john, after driving through that area and can completely understand why you moved!
